Bring Your Network into Harmony with your Business Goals
Your network is a strategic asset to your business, influencing how well you conduct business,
your bottom line, and customer perception. Managing this vital tool can easily disconnect you
from your core business. To keep your network running optimally and cost-effectively, you need
the support of professionals who understand the business and technical issues surrounding your
networking needs. Given the rapid advancement in regulatory and technological environments, it
is difficult to stay abreast of these changes, while handling the myriad of other tasks that
consume your day.
Today, many companies look to external sources for this level of expertise while focusing
internal resources on their core business. NetPlus Consulting Services allows you to manage
your business by providing the expertise and support required to maintain an optimal network.
Networks are dynamic, changing with business, regulatory and technology trends. Often these
changes can cause a conflict between the needs of the business and the realities of the network.
NetPlus Consulting Services lets you align your networking operations with your business strategy.
We work with you to develop solutions that are consistent with and complement your company's
business goals. You can depend on NetPlus Consulting Services to help you stay competitive by
implementing strategies, agreements, and technologies, appropriate to benefit your business.
As your network changes, we'll assist you in handling the challenges of managing multiple
technologies and suppliers, interoperability and scalability issues, while remaining within the
boundaries of your overall business strategy.

William Oake, CEO of NetPlus, Inc. offers a wealth of experience with a
ten-year tenure in carrier sales and contract management. As a principal
of NetPlus, Mr. Oake oversees the contract management component of the
business, providing consulting support for clients having a need to contract
for telecommunications services, including: inbound/outbound voice, private line, frame relay and ATM.
Previous to his co-founding NetPlus, Mr. Oake served as senior contract negotiator for
AT&T Corporation. Mr. Oake was responsible for all the larger, global account contracts,
especially those with a data focus. For three years, Mr. Oake negotiated Virtual
Telecommunications Network Service (VTNS) private and wholesale contracts for
AT&T during which time, he handled over 450 different contracts, closing over 150
contracts in the last two years alone.
Prior to contract negotiation at AT&T, Mr. Oake had been a salesperson for the carrier since
1988. Initially, he worked primarily with customers requiring data and 800 services; his
rapid success led to a national account manager position. For four years, Mr. Oake was
account manager for several global accounts, including Mercedes Benz, BMW, and Foster Wheeler.
He was recognized as one of the leaders in his office and earned the role of account manager
for some of AT&T's largest and most visible accounts. During this time, Mr. Oake returned
to school to pursue a law degree. He advantaged his education by moving from the sales
environment to contract negotiation within AT&T, utilizing both his skills and law school
education to their optimum.
Mr. Oake currently holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, an MBA in Business Management and
a Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall School of Law.
The sum total of Mr. Oake's education, knowledge, and experience is brought to bear when
NetPlus is hired to establish contract parameters and negotiate a telecommunications agreement
on a client's behalf with their carrier of choice. Mr. Oake's expertise provides the valuable
differentiator between a standard agreement and one that provides maximum flexibility and
economic benefit to the client. His insight into the contract process enables clients to
receive the very best term, conditions and price point available in the marketplace.
